Growing up in the world’s largest island country, with more than thirteen thousand islands, Giaji was familiar with many folklores, especially surrounding Java Island. He was born in Semarang in 1993 and completed his studies in the Faculty of Communication Science at Padjadjaran University.
In 2011, he started believes to make something more valuable because in those days he loved watching classic movies and familiar with artworks by Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, and Orson Welles . Falling in love with Eichiro Oda, touched by the heart of novel The Noticer : Sometimes, All a Person Needs Is a Little Perspective written by Andy Andrews. Finally, he made a new blog that’s contains a review film written by him.
He finds passion on filmmaking when he was join Cinematography Club Fikom Unpad and produced several short films : Jangan Berisik (2012), Jejak (2012), Tricked (2013), Envelove (2013), Behind The Scene ‘Jejak’ (2014), and Lakon Episode (2015). But, it doesn’t mean he wishes a carrier as a filmmaker on the contrary he was lost and starts questioning about ‘what he wants to do with his life?‘ even though he always know deep down what exactly his desire : share stories with words.
So, in 2016, he decided to create a personal website – mostly he writes about film and book reviews also short stories written by him and about places he visits, what he does, see, and experience. Now, he currently residing in Bekasi. He still have a lot of passions and an open minded one. Loves to share stories, joy and happines with others. (2016/Augst)
